1. Purpose and Scope

The NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum (“Forum”) is a professional, safety-oriented platform for lawful, respectful discussion about TASER® training, security operations, defensive tactics, and personal safety. These Terms and Rules (“Terms”) apply to all Users, Members, Moderators, Administrators, and Visitors. By using the Forum, you agree to comply with these Terms. Violations may result in post removal, warnings, suspensions, permanent bans, and/or referral to authorities.

2. Definitions

User / Member: Any person who accesses, registers for, or interacts with the Forum.
Content: Any post, reply, private message, image, video, file, link, listing, or other material submitted.
Moderator / Administrator: Authorized personnel who manage operations and enforce these Terms.
Classifieds: Any offer, listing, or advertisement to sell, buy, or trade goods or services.
Prohibited Items: Firearms, frames/receivers, major firearm components, ammunition, explosives, or other restricted items.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

Minimum Age: 18+ only. Users under 18 are not permitted.
Accurate Registration: Provide true, current information and keep it updated.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Security: Do not share, sell, or transfer your account. Protect your credentials and devices.
Multiple Accounts: Sockpuppets or ban-evasion accounts are prohibited.
Impersonation: Do not claim to be another person, company representative, law enforcement, or staff.
Username Standards: No impersonation, profanity, hate speech, or brand infringement.

4. Community Standards (Civility Required)

This is a professional environment. Respect and safety are mandatory.

No hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or targeted abuse.
No threats, intimidation, or encouragement of violence.
No defamation or knowing spread of misinformation.
No obscene, pornographic, or graphic sexual material.
No trolling, flaming, baiting, brigading, or derailing.
No spam, repetitive advertising, or irrelevant self-promotion.
No encouragement of illegal or unsafe behavior.

5. Posting and Content Rules

On-Topic: Post in the correct section; keep threads relevant.
Professional Tone: Use respectful language; avoid profanity and personal attacks.
Accuracy: Verify facts; label opinions and experiences clearly.
Privacy: No doxing or posting private/sensitive data.
Lawful Material Only: No malware, exploits, illegal downloads, or hacking tools.
Media: Only upload content you created or are authorized to share; keep it safe for work and relevant.
Duplicates: Avoid cross-posting the same content in multiple sections.
Language: English is primary unless in designated multilingual areas.
Bumping: Only bump for legitimate updates; excessive bumping may be moderated.
Ownership: Content may be edited, moved, archived, or removed at staff discretion.

6. Signature, Avatar, and Profile Rules

Signatures and avatars are part of your posts and must follow all rules.

Signatures: Professional and non-offensive; up to one image (max 468×60 px) and three lines of text.
No Unapproved Ads: Commercial advertising or affiliate/referral links require prior admin approval.
Content Limits: No political/religious advocacy, inflammatory statements, animations, flashing graphics, or oversized fonts.
Links: Must be relevant to your professional identity or an approved partner. No link shorteners that mask destinations.
Avatars: Professional/neutral images only; no nudity, gore, hate symbols, or impersonation of staff/organizations.
User Titles/Badges: Custom titles permitted for verified/premium users; never imply staff roles.

7. Allowed and Restricted Post Types

Allowed: Training discussions; safety guides; gear reviews; lawful personal defense topics; product Q&A; industry news; security job postings; lawful TASER device/accessory listings (see Classifieds rules).
Restricted/Prohibited: Political campaigning; religious recruitment; conspiracy propaganda; firearm/ammunition sales or “price checks”; unlicensed legal/medical advice; chain letters; pyramid schemes; donation/crowdfunding solicitations without admin approval.

8. Prohibited Content (Non-Exhaustive)

Firearms sales, trades, solicitations, appraisals; frames/receivers; major firearm components; ammunition.
Instructions to commit crimes or evade regulations and safety protocols.
Malware, exploits, or attempts to compromise the Forum or user devices.
Copyright/trademark infringements or misappropriation of trade secrets.
Graphic sexual content; sexualization of minors; exploitation.

9. Classifieds and Transaction Rules

Firearms and Ammunition: Absolutely prohibited in any form, public or private (including PMs). Violations may result in immediate, permanent bans and referral to authorities.

TASER Devices and Accessories: Permitted only with strict compliance to all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws. You are solely responsible for knowing and following the law in both parties’ jurisdictions. The Forum provides no legal advice and is not a party to any transaction.

Listing Requirements: Accurate title/description; clear condition; price and general location (city/state only); no claims of universal legality; no contingent offers requiring illegal conduct or misrepresentation; promptly update or remove sold items.
Risk & Indemnity: You transact at your own risk and agree to hold NM TASERS And More Training LLC harmless for any claims arising out of your listings or transactions.
No Cross-Posting: Do not post identical listings across multiple categories.
Fraud/Misrepresentation: Will result in immediate bans and may be reported to authorities.

10. Private Messages (PMs)

PMs are a privilege. Do not use them for harassment, spam, or unapproved sales.
With credible reports of abuse, administrators may investigate PM misuse consistent with law and policy.
Repeat PM violations may lead to communication restrictions or bans.

11. Reporting Violations

Use the “Report” function to flag violations or safety concerns.
Do not publicly argue with violators; let moderators handle enforcement.
False or malicious reporting is itself a violation.

12. Moderator Authority and Enforcement

Moderators/Administrators may edit, move, or remove Content; issue warnings; restrict features; suspend/ban accounts; and block IPs.
Progressive Discipline: Warning; limited suspension; extended suspension; permanent ban. Severe violations may result in immediate permanent bans.
No Circumvention: Ban evasion (new accounts, VPNs, etc.) will result in permanent exclusion.
Appeals: Submit written appeals within 7 days to [email protected]. Decisions are final.
Evidence Preservation: The Forum may retain records of posts, messages, and logs to investigate violations and meet legal obligations.

13. Staff Conduct and Accountability

Staff must enforce rules fairly, consistently, and without bias.
Staff may not use their position for personal gain.
Reports and investigations are confidential within staff channels.
Abuse of authority may result in removal from staff roles.

14. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your original Content.
By posting, you grant NM TASERS And More Training LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, archive, moderate, and create non-derivative backups of your Content for Forum operation and enforcement.
Do not post Content that infringes third-party rights. Obtain permissions before posting protected works.
Allegedly infringing or unlawful Content may be removed at the Forum’s discretion.

15. Privacy, Security, and Data Practices

Data Collected: Usernames, display names, email addresses, IP addresses, device/session identifiers, timestamps, and activity logs.
Use of Data: To administer accounts, maintain security, enforce rules, and comply with legal obligations.
Disclosure: When required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
No Sale of Personal Data: The Forum does not sell personal data.
Retention: Logs and Content may be retained as needed for operations and legal compliance.
User Requests: You may request account deletion or anonymization; certain records may be retained as permitted/required by law.

16. Safety Guidance (Non-Exhaustive)

Follow manufacturer instructions and recognized safety practices.
Do not attempt techniques beyond your certification, ability, or lawful authorization.
Use protective gear and safe training environments.
Immediately discontinue any unsafe discussion or activity and notify moderators.

17. Legal Notices and Disclaimers

No Legal Advice: Forum Content is informational only, not legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions.
No Endorsement: References to products/services/organizations do not constitute endorsement.
As-Is: The Forum is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, NM TASERS And More Training LLC and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NM TASERS And More Training LLC and affiliates from claims arising from your use, Content, or transactions.

18. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe material on the Forum infringes your rights, contact the administrator with: (a) identification of the work; (b) identification of the material you claim is infringing; (c) your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized agent.

19. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice.
Access may be suspended or terminated for violations or conduct deemed harmful or unsafe.

20. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms are the entire agreement regarding Forum use.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive venue is the state courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

22. Acknowledgment

By registering for or using the Forum, you affirm that you are 18 years or older and that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Rules in full.

TASER® is a trademark of Axon Enterprise, Inc. All rights to that mark are owned by Axon Enterprise, Inc. NM TASERS And More Training LLC is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Axon Enterprise, Inc.
