1. Purpose and Scope

The NM TASERS And More Training LLC Forum ("Forum") is a moderated professional discussion environment dedicated to lawful, safety-focused conversation regarding TASER training, security operations, defensive tactics, and related subjects. These Terms and Rules ("Terms") govern all access to and use of the Forum by any member, guest, or visitor ("User"). By accessing or using the Forum, you agree to these Terms. Violations may result in removal of content, warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and/or referral to appropriate authorities.

2. Definitions

  • User / Member: Any individual who accesses, registers for, or posts on the Forum.
  • Content: Any post, message, reply, private message, image, file, listing, offer, or other material submitted or transmitted by a User.
  • Moderators / Administrators: Authorized personnel who manage Forum operations and enforce these Terms.
  • Classifieds: Any post offering goods or services, including "for sale," "wanted," or "trade" posts.
  • Prohibited Items: Items that may not be listed, offered, or discussed for transactional purposes on the Forum, including firearms, frames/receivers, major firearm components, or ammunition.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

  • Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to register or participate. Users under 18 are not permitted.
  • Accurate Registration: You must provide true, current information at registration and keep it updated.
  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by anyone using your credentials.
  • Security: Do not share, sell, or transfer your account. Protect your credentials and device.
  • Multiple Accounts: Creating alternate accounts ("sockpuppets") or accounts intended to evade moderation is prohibited and may result in permanent bans on all related accounts.
  • Impersonation: Claiming to be another person, a company representative, law enforcement, or staff is prohibited.

4. Community Standards (Civility Required)

Zero tolerance for incivility and abuse. This is a professional space; all Users must act respectfully.

  • Hate Speech and Harassment: Discriminatory slurs, demeaning stereotypes, targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation are prohibited.
  • Threats or Violence: Direct or implied threats are prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.
  • Defamation and Misinformation: False, reckless, or damaging allegations about individuals or entities are prohibited.
  • Obscenity and Graphic Material: Pornographic or gratuitously violent content is prohibited.
  • Trolling and Disruption: Deliberate provocation, brigading, derailing threads, or posting in bad faith is prohibited.
  • Spam and Commercial Solicitation: Irrelevant promotions, repetitive advertising, and non-contextual links or references are prohibited.
  • Illegal Advocacy: Encouraging criminal behavior, unsafe practices, or evasion of law is prohibited.

5. Posting Rules and Content Standards

  • On-Topic: Post in the correct section; keep threads relevant to the stated topic.
  • Professional Tone: Use clear, respectful language. Avoid profanity and personal attacks.
  • Accuracy: Verify facts before posting. Clearly label opinion and experience-based statements.
  • Privacy: No doxing. Do not post private or sensitive information about yourself or others (addresses, phone numbers, private emails, IDs, or health data).
  • Media and Files: Only upload content you created or are authorized to share; ensure it is lawful, appropriate, and relevant to the topic.
  • Safety Disclaimers: When discussing techniques or equipment, emphasize safe, lawful use and recognized best practices.
  • Reporting: Use available tools to report violations. Do not engage publicly with violators—let moderators handle enforcement.

6. Prohibited Content (Non-Exhaustive)

  • Firearms sales, trades, or solicitations; frames/receivers; major firearm components; ammunition; or posts designed to facilitate such transactions.
  • Instructions to commit crimes, bypass safety protocols, or evade regulatory requirements.
  • Malware, exploits, or attempts to compromise the Forum or Users’ devices.
  • Infringing materials (copyright or trademark) or misappropriation of trade secrets.
  • Graphic sexual content, sexualization of minors, or exploitation.

7. Classifieds and Transaction Rules

A. Firearms

Absolutely prohibited. No sales, trades, giveaways, solicitations, appraisals, or "price checks" for firearms, frames/receivers, major components, or ammunition. This prohibition applies to public posts and private messages. Violations may result in immediate and permanent bans and, where appropriate, referral to authorities.

B. TASER Devices and Accessories

  • Permitted with Strict Compliance: Listings for TASER devices and accessories are allowed only if every party complies fully with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for knowing and following all laws in your jurisdiction and the buyer’s/seller’s jurisdiction.
  • No Legal Advice: NM TASERS And More Training LLC does not provide legal advice and does not determine legality for any transaction. If unsure, consult a licensed attorney or your local authorities.
  • Not a Party / No Agency: NM TASERS And More Training LLC is not a party to any transaction, does not broker transactions, and assumes no responsibility for user conduct or representations.
  • Assumption of Risk: By posting or responding to a listing, you act solely at your own risk and agree to hold NM TASERS And More Training LLC harmless from any claim arising out of your transaction.

C. Listing Requirements (TASER and Accessories)

  • Accurate title and description; no deceptive claims.
  • Clear statement of item condition and included accessories.
  • No claims of legal status or compliance; Users must verify legality themselves.
  • No contingent offers that require illegal conduct or misrepresentation.
  • Remove or update listings promptly once items are sold or no longer available.

8. Moderator Authority and Enforcement

  • Discretion: Moderators/Administrators may edit, move, or remove any Content; issue warnings; restrict features; suspend or permanently ban accounts; and block IPs or ranges as needed.
  • Progressive Discipline (Guideline): Notice or warning; limited suspension; extended suspension; permanent ban. Severe violations may result in immediate permanent ban without prior warning.
  • No Circumvention: Creating new accounts, using VPNs, or otherwise attempting to evade sanctions will result in permanent exclusion.
  • Appeals: Limited, written appeals may be submitted to administrators. Decisions are final.
  • Evidence Preservation: The Forum may retain records of posts, messages, and logs to investigate violations and comply with legal obligations.

9. User Content and Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of Content you create and post.
  • License to Forum: You grant NM TASERS And More Training LLC a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, archive, moderate, and create non-derivative backups of your Content solely for Forum operation and enforcement.
  • Third-Party Rights: Do not post Content that infringes another party’s rights. You are responsible for securing necessary permissions before posting.
  • Removal Requests: The Forum may remove Content that appears infringing or unlawful at its discretion.

10. Privacy, Security, and Data Practices

  • Data Collected: The Forum may collect usernames, display names, email addresses, IP addresses, device or session identifiers, timestamps, and activity logs for security, moderation, and operational purposes.
  • Use of Data: Data is used to administer accounts, maintain security, enforce these Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Disclosure: Data may be disclosed when required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of the Company, staff, Users, or the public.
  • No Sale of Personal Data: The Forum does not sell personal data.
  • Retention: Logs and Content may be retained for a period appropriate to operational and legal requirements.
  • User Requests: You may request account deletion or anonymization. Certain records may be retained as permitted or required by law.

11. Safety Guidance (Non-Exhaustive)

  • Follow manufacturer instructions and recognized safety practices for all equipment.
  • Do not attempt training techniques beyond your certification, ability, or lawful authorization.
  • Use protective equipment and safe training environments when practicing any technique.
  • Immediately discontinue any unsafe discussion, practice, or arrangement and notify moderators of concerns.

12. Legal Notices and Disclaimers

  • No Legal Advice: Forum Content is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions.
  • No Endorsement: References to products, services, or organizations do not constitute endorsement by NM TASERS And More Training LLC.
  • As-Is: The Forum is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

  • Termination: The Company may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms or for conduct it determines harmful to the community or unsafe.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NM TASERS And More Training LLC regarding Forum use.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive venue for any dispute shall be in the state courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.

17. Acknowledgment

By registering for or using the Forum, you affirm that you are 18 years or older and that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Rules in full.
