The TASER Pulse is a highly effective, civilian-designed conducted energy device (CED) engineered for personal protection and everyday carry. This course is specifically designed for responsible civilians seeking the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to safely, legally, and effectively operate the TASER Pulse in real-world self-defense situations.
Course Overview
This comprehensive training provides a structured, civilian-focused approach to TASER Pulse ownership and use. Instruction includes both classroom-based learning and practical application to ensure students leave with a clear understanding of device operation and responsible decision-making.
Topics covered include, but are not limited to:
- TASER Pulse device overview and functionality
- Safe handling, storage, and maintenance
- Proper carry considerations and readiness
- Deployment techniques and target areas
- Distance, probe spread, and environmental considerations
- Post-deployment actions and device recovery
- Situational awareness and de-escalation principles
- Scenario-based training tailored specifically for civilian self-defense
- Overview of use-of-force concepts as they apply to civilians
Whether you carry the TASER Pulse for personal safety, home defense, or peace of mind, this course emphasizes not only how to use the device, but when and why its use may be appropriate.
Legal Considerations & Responsibilities
A critical component of this course focuses on the legal responsibilities associated with civilian ownership and use of a conducted energy device. Students will receive general instruction on legal concepts related to self-defense and use of force; however, laws can vary significantly by jurisdiction and are subject to change.
This course is designed to help students understand the importance of knowing and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding possession, carry, and use of a TASER device.

Enrollment is now open, with scheduled class dates available. Additional sessions may be added based on demand. Class sizes may be limited to ensure quality instruction and hands-on learning.
