Host A Class
Interested in hosting a training class at your facility? We’d love to work with you. NM TASERS And More Training offers select courses that can be delivered on-site at your location, providing a convenient and cost-effective training solution for agencies, companies, and organizations.
If your organization requires professional training services, please review the hosting requirements outlined below to ensure your facility can support the course effectively.
Facility & Equipment Requirements
To successfully host a class, the following requirements must be met:
- Classroom Space:
A classroom large enough to safely and comfortably accommodate the number of students you plan to enroll. - Technology & Presentation Needs:
- A computer with reliable internet access or the ability for our instructors to connect their own equipment to the internet.
- A projector is preferred. If a projector is not available, a large TV or suitable wall surface for presentations is acceptable, depending on course requirements.
- Training Space:
- Two separate rooms are strongly preferred:
- One room for classroom instruction and presentations
- One room for hands-on practical exercises
- If two rooms are not available, please discuss alternatives with us in advance so we can determine suitability.
- Two separate rooms are strongly preferred:
Class Size & Structure
- Our standard hosted classes are designed for approximately 10 students.
- Larger or smaller class sizes may be possible depending on the course type and facility limitations.
- You will determine whether the class is:
- Closed Class: Reserved exclusively for your organization. Closed classes are not advertised publicly.
- Open Class: Open to outside attendees. You will specify:
- Total room capacity
- Number of seats reserved for your organization
- The remaining seats will be marketed and filled by NM TASERS And More Training
Scheduling & Travel Considerations
- TASER® certification courses are typically two-day classes, most often scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.
- Other courses may vary in length depending on curriculum requirements.
- If the class location is outside of the Albuquerque area and requires overnight travel:
- Instructor travel and lodging costs will be added to the total class fee unless reasonable accommodations are provided by the host.
TASER 10–Specific Requirements
If you are requesting a TASER 10 course, additional requirements mandated by AXON (not NM TASERS And More Training) must be met:
For courses in the United States that include TASER 10, the hosting agency must be able to receive the devices directly (not through an FFL). A signed Weapons Conveyance document must be completed and approved prior to course authorization.
We will assist you with this process to ensure compliance.
Lead Time, Deposits & Payment Terms
- A minimum of three (3) weeks’ lead time is required to properly schedule instructors, secure equipment, and finalize logistics.
- Once we confirm availability and approve the class:
- A partial deposit will be required, with the amount based on the number of students enrolled.
- The remaining balance is due on Day Two of TASER courses, or on the final day of longer courses.
Deposit Policy:
- Deposits are fully refundable up to 10 days prior to the class start date.
- Within 10 days of the class:
- Deposits become non-refundable
- A one-time reschedule is permitted using the same deposit, subject to instructor availability
